The food is great. Sometimes there is a wait and the service is okay. But they do keep strange hours throughout the week. We have to be lucky to see them open.

Area specialty for bbq, southern sides and friendly service. Tammy will greet you with a smile and take your order perfectly. Then the invisible people in the kitchen wlll either wrap it to go and you can take it to a nice wooden table inside or outside. You can have the bbq but I have the cheeseburger, friend okra or chicken tender salad, the ranch dressing is extra good. Check the days and hours before you go. They have the community trained to rush in Wednesday through Saturday.

Fat Mans came highly recommended, and if the line out the door is any sign, the place definitely has a following. We got the meat and 2 sides, plus tried a handful of everything else. Pork was really good, sauce was good, and the hush puppies were excellent. Husband loved the potato salad too! Wait times are long (as expected with such a big crowd to feed) so call ahead or chill on the patio and relax while you wait.

The food is great you can't go wrong with that barbecue sandwiches they make them like you want them chopped or sliced mix 100 mild hamburger I also good can't beat the onion rings for the fried mushrooms I have a menu for everything and not everything is barbecue related they open from Wednesday through Sunday if you want something for lunch on Friday Saturday and Sunday you need to call in an hour earlier than the time you want to eat staff is great the girls run the cash register is the granddaughter of the man who built the fat man's business up you used to be across the street in a block building after the old memories we built a new one right there with a barbecue place is now it burnt down and I didn't want to help rebuild it but you can't go wrong with that man barbecue

I am a local of the area. Fat Man's is my favorite BBQ restaurant in town. They have excellent fresh patted burgers, not frozen patties. The smoked chicken is awesome. My personal favorite sides are the okra (always crisp), corn nuggets, and the baked beans are the best I've ever tasted, they have bbq pieces in them. Piggy Fries are divine, I like them with bbq sauce AND ranch.

The outside slice bbq sandwich was excellent. The Fat Burger was the best around PC area. The fries and slaw were great and atmosphere perfect. If you are in area give this place a try.
